Deborah joined our firm in the summer of 2015, filling a desperate need to manage many of our ongoing accounting clients (and allow Brittany to sleep every once in a while).
Deborah is an Enrolled Agent with broad experience in many aspects of accounting, tax, and business consulting. She brings over 20 years of experience as an accountant, including many years spent running her own accounting practice and five years as a controller for a successful startup company in Boulder. She likes to brag that she has been using QuickBooks since it was running on DOS!
Deborah was born in Tokyo, Japan and grew up in the California Bay Area. After moving to Colorado, she received her B.S. in Accounting and M.S. in Taxation at the University of Colorado-Boulder.
Deborah is an avid golfer and runner and loves to travel. In 2009, she ran the Marathon du Medoc in Bordeaux, France (yes, there was wine tasting along the way!). Outside of work, she spends time with her husband and their combined family of six children and two grandchildren.
