Michael Eggert is a CPA with over four years of audit and accounting experience. He graduated with both his BBA and Masters in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He is a Wisconsin native but has been living and adventuring around Colorado for the past seven years.
Michael started his career at Ernst & Young in Chicago, before transferring with the firm out to the Denver office. During his time at EY, Michael gained experience in the Audit practice working on a multitude of clients ranging from large multi-national publicly traded companies to smaller mid-sized privately held companies.
Michael loves a good adventure. In the summer you can find him backpacking across one of the many trails Colorado has to offer and in the winter, likely on the ski hill or in a backcountry hut. Recently, Michael fulfilled a life-long goal of his to travel the world, solo-backpacking across five continents and over 20 countries. Upon returning from his trip, Michael joined Lanphier and has been part of the team ever since.
