Dennis is the brain trust of Lanphier LLP. His extensive tax knowledge and super-human research skills are what has enabled us to boldly go where most small firms do not and seek out highly complex and specialized tax clients.
Dennis is a Certified Public Accountant, as well as a licensed attorney with an advanced degree in tax law. He has over 10 years of tax training and experience working with businesses of all sizes. He is an IRS guru with a wealth of knowledge about navigating all manner of tax disputes.
In addition to his practice as a CPA with Lanphier LLP, Dennis maintains a solo law practice within the same office. He focuses on tax controversy as well as business law and litigation. Many of our accounting firm clients choose to use Dennis as their legal representation as well, finding the convenience of having their accountant and lawyer under one roof irresistible.
Dennis graduated from Gonzaga University with a B.B.A. in Accounting. He attended law school at the University of Denver, where he received his J.D. and L.L.M. in Taxation. After law school, Dennis worked for Deloitte in the international tax group, where he met his wife, Brittany (and the rest is history).
Dennis enjoys taking in Broncos’ and Rockies’ games, fishing in the great outdoors, and playing tennis; although, these days, most of his free time is spent laughing and playing with his daughters, Brooklyn and Addison.
